TOWARDS SELETAR
At the Oval's playground
Overall, from Sembawang to The Oval -- 10km according to google maps -- is not a difficult ride. 90% of it can be done on pavement / park connector (esp Seletar side). But there is this one stretch on Yishun Dam which can be scary. As at 2020, it is not developed for cyclists, which means you have to ride on a narrow 2 lane road with lots of vehicles, or you have to survive these concrete covers (on the side that faces the sea). The side which faces the reservoir / country club is an extremely narrow pavement, and often full of people.
