Boston June 2011 -- Downtown and Museum

Here are some pics of downtown Boston.

This is Copley Square. Where the new meets the old.

On Copley Square is the Boston Public Library. A beautiful classic building.

It even has a lovely little fountain in the courtyard.

Also visited the Boston Museum of Modern Art.

Interesting stuff inside...not sure what this is supposed to be (with cafe in background).

Without a doubt, the highlight was Dale Chulily's glassworks. Totally awesome.

Pls do click pic to enlarge...

Also other nice art pieces, like this carpet tapestry...

and some Picasso sketches.

Boston is also a place for really great food at great value.

I learnt about "steak tips" at Silvertone Restaurant

At US$15, this was totally awesome. Cider was separate.

Then another time, it was Baby Lobster and Fillet Mignon at
US$35 (includes clam chowder as starter). Again, great value.
